Paul Niemann's school presentations are entertaining as well as educational. Paul will teach kids about well-known inventions that were created by kids and will share the principals that kids can learn from inventors. Paul does workshops with 4th-9th grade students on Inventing Basics that includes taking an invention from idea to patent, to prototype, to marketing the invention. With 6 years of teaching experience, Paul knows how to keep the kids interested and involved. These are great workshops to help prepare kids for science fairs and invention conventions.
Workshop Topics:
4th-6th Grades: Kid Inventors Learn the stories behind popular inventions that were created by kids--the popsickle, ear muffs, the calculator, TV, and more. In this presentation, Paul will teach your students 10 principles that they can learn from inventors.
4th-9th Grades A History Lesson of the State's Top Inventors A fun and informative presentation on the state's top inventors and inventions. (Missouri & Illinois only)
4th-9th Grades Invention Convention Paul will present a step-by-step overview of inventing basics. Students will learn how to come up with their own inventions, apply for a patent, build a prototype, and market their inventions. This is ideal workshop to prepare students for Invention Conventions and Science Fairs.
7th-9th Grades: Goal Setting Paul will teach your students the four kinds of goals to set, how to set goals, and how goals can help students succeed in school and in life.
9th-12th Grades: How to Write and Publish Your Own Books Paul will teach your students about writing and publishing their own books.
